FIRE FIGHTING AND ERT TRAINING
This course is specially designed to introduce trainees to the duties and responsibilities of a Fire Fighting Team and Fire Warden, equipping them with the necessary skills in fire safety, prevention, and risk assessment. It provides awareness of the dangers of fire, guidance on the use of extinguishers and fire hose reels, and instructions on how to carry out fire routine procedures. Additionally, the training aims to assist employers in developing emergency response plans tailored to the specific needs of their businesses.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to:
1. Use the portable FIRE extinguishers and FIRE Hose Reel.
2. Understand how to control the FIRE hazards.
3. Demonstrate the ability to manage small fire, safely and effectively.
4. Understand different types of fire extinguisher and its usage.
5. Understand the various modes of fire spread and heat transfer.
6. Able to Set-up ERT Team
INTENDED AUDIENCE
- Manager, Executive, ERT Members, Safety and Health Officers, OSH Coordinators Safety and Health Committee Members, HR Manager and Security Manager.
METHODOLOGY
- Slides Presentation, Video Presentation, Lecturing, Discussion, Demonstration, Actual Case Study, Practical Exercise and Mock Drill if requested. BOMBA Fire Engine shall be present (if requested) at additional cost.
IN HOUSE TRAINING
Course Fees - In House training ( 1 Day Course )
Fees: RM 4,800 for a group of 10 to 30 participants
Fees includes the Training Materials, Certificate of Attendance and PVC Training Certification Card valid for 3 (Three) Years.
Additional fees of RM1,500 if need BOMBA Fire Engine presence with crew.
The fees are Claimable under HRDCorp Skim Bantuan Latihan Khas (SBL-Khas)
Venue: Any Place in Peninsular Malaysia (own premise)
Duration: 1 Day Training (9 a.m. to 5 p.m.)
